KwiltWood Studio was born from a deep admiration for wood as an eternal material and a reverence for traditional woodworking and cabinet making craftsmanship. Techniques like marquetry, joinery, and French polishing are fascinating and provided a huge inspiration.

I've always loved wood, an awesome companion to humanity. Its warmth, strength, versatility, and beauty make it the perfect medium for crafting everything from buildings and furniture to vehicles, musical instruments, and beyond. I can still vividly remember leaning over the kitchen table, captivated by the intricate patterns of a delicately crafted music box.

For many years, I've honed my craft, turning wood into boxes and furniture as a hobby, learning the nuances and elevating my skills to reveal the hidden beauty of wood. While I have a passion for exotic woods, I've also discovered the remarkable qualities of local species such as maple, walnut, cherry, pear, and many others.

Eventually, I decided to focus on precision craftsmanship, particularly in jewelry, and to share this experience with others. My hope is that these pieces will find homes with individuals who, like me, can spend hours mesmerized by the changing patterns and the way wood comes to life.

Each item is an original design, handcrafted with mostly traditional tools, embodying dedication, passion, and love.
